Our Beginnings

Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory has been serving the people of Columbus and Lowndes County, MS, with expertise and compassion since 1893. We are an independently owned, full service funeral home and crematory, providing our families with dignified, caring and affordable services.

We have one of the finest funeral home facilities in North Mississippi with spacious state rooms, a large chapel and state of the art equipment.

We have a genuine desire to help people during the difficult times of losing loved ones. Our experienced staff works with each family to carry out their wishes, whether they be traditional services at our funeral home, church or cemetery or more contemporary services such as cremation and memorial services. We own and operate Lowndes County's first crematory.

Our staff also works with clergy, cemetery caretakers, beauticians, coroners and others to help you during a difficult time. Our services are affordable and our fully licensed staff is available to walk you through all of the options and pricing.
