WYNELL DAVIS - Wynell Porter Davis, age 100, of Columbus, MS, passed away January 10, 2023, at Trinity Healthcare. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2:30 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ralph Windle officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mrs. Davis was born November 29, 1922, in Fayette, AL, to the late Vandiver and Learon Shepherd Porter. She worked as a sales associate for many years at Sears in Tuscaloosa, AL, and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Robert Davis, Jr.
Survivors include her sister, Shirley Berry of Spanish Fort, AL, and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Keith Porter, Brad Porter, Greg Porter, Scott Berry, Shawn Berry, and Sherman Berry.
