Buddy Perrigin

Willie Earl "Buddy" Perrigin, Jr., 57, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 5:00pm at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Buddy was born on August 18, 1966 in Columbus, MS to Sharon Perrigin and the late Willie Earl Perrigin, Sr.  He worked for many years at Lucent Technology.  Buddy loved spending time with his friends and family, especially in the outdoors.  He often looked forward to his every Sunday coffee with friends at a local coffee shop.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Perrigin.  He is survived by his two sons: Austin T. Perrigin (Alivia) and Alex Z. Perrigin; mother, Sharon Perrigin; Sister: Michelle Denise Perrigin; grandchildren: Aura and Aurelian Perrigin; and special friends, Jim Matos, David, Dewitt, John Bitgood, Matthew Smith, Robbie & Cherial, Jeannie King, and Steve Pierce.

Honorary pallbearers will be his sons, Austin and Alex and friends, Jim, David, Dewitt, John, and Matthew.
