WILLIAM RAY

William Frank Ray age 99, died Sunday September 26, 2021 at his residence in Dothan, Alabama. A visitation will be held Wednesday September 29, 2021 from 11: a.m. until 12:00 noon at the 716 2 nd Ave N Location of Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in the Steens/Fernbank Community.

Mr. Ray was born on September 21, 1922 in Steens, MS to the late Robert Bruce and Ida Dorris Ray. Mr. Ray was a U.S. Navy veteran and a former aircraft mechanic at Columbus Air Force Base and Fort Rucker, AL.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Ray and all his siblings.
