WILLIAM LAMAR – William Glenn Lamar, age 52, of Columbus, MS, passed away February 19, 2019, at his residence. A memorial service will be Friday, February 22, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel 2 nd Ave. location with Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
Mr. Lamar was born December 25, 1966, in Clarksdale, MS, to the late Glenn Lamar and Carol Jean Alexander of Columbus, MS. He was a graduate of Lee High School and enjoyed spending time with friends. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a dog lover.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his stepfather, Al Alexander of Columbus, MS, and sister, Lea Liles of Atlanta, GA.
