WILLIAM BARTOWICK

William Vincent Bartowick, age 77 died Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Vineyard Court Nursing Center in Columbus. A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, November 05, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Jeffrey Waldrep, officiating, visitation will be held Tuesday one hour prior to service at the church. Burial with U.S. Air Force honors will take place in Jefferson, PA.

Mr. Bartowick was born on Saturday, January 31, 1942 in Fredericktown, PA to the late Joseph and Pauline Martin Bartowick. He was a communicant of Annunciation Catholic Church, and a graduate of the University of Maryland. He retired after 28 years as a Chief Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, then worked in civil service at Columbus Air Force Base for 12 years. Mr. Bartowick was an avid golfer, a member of Green Oaks Golf Club, and a huge fan of all spectator sports. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Dawson Bartowick, his sisters, Sophie Steimmell, Betty Bane, and his brother, Joseph Bartowick.
