Lesley Wayne Logan age 80, died Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Monday at 12:00 p.m at the 903 College Street Chapel of Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home with Minister George Hutto officiating, burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Logan was born on Wednesday, September 27, 1939 in Lowndes County, MS to the late Willis Bernard and Dona Hall Logan, and spent his entire life in the Steens Community. He was a member of Woodlawn Church of Christ and a 1959 graduate of Caledonia High School. Mr. Logan was a 28-year veteran of the Mississippi National Guard where he served as a cook. He worked at McCoy Manufacturing where he met and married his wife, Joyce, then for 22 years worked as an insurance salesman with Life of Georgia. He was the owner/operator of Wayne’s Pawn Shop for 9 years until retirement. Mr. Logan enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and trading, and always loved sharing a good meal with family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dean Young, and Murlene Yarborogh, and his brothers Albert Logan and Jimmy Logan.

Sons - Colby Logan (Heather), Steens, MS, Jonathan Logan (Alika)
Sisters- Bobbie Winters (Arthur), Beverly Higdon
Brothers - Elbert Logan, Willis Logan (Tonyaa)

Hunter Logan
Austin Logan
Ashton Logan
Sunny Logan
