Wanda Joyce Baucom Andrews, 82, of Columbus, MS, passed away peacefully, September 15, 2024, at Garden Hill Assisted Living Home in Columbus, MS, Visitation will be Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at Eastview Church, Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Eastview Church with Pastor Junior Eads officiating with Bro Mitch Eads assisting. Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

 Wanda was born August 14, 1942, in McAlister, OK, to the late Kermit Sr. and Myrtle Elizabeth Baucom. Wanda grew up in Lowndes County and graduated from Caledonia High School where she was Class Salutatorian. She began her working career at the City of Columbus Mayor's office, then worked several years at Bell South as a switchboard operator before ending her career after 25 years of service to the KMart Corporation. she was a member of Eastview Church and loved the Lord and her family. Because of her love of the Lord, she was described by many as beautiful inside and out. Her children have fond memorials of her praying on her knees at her bedside. She enjoyed preparing meals on Saturday for the whole family, camping trips, traveling, reading her Bible and watching SBN. She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William "Billy" Andrews, baby brother, Paul Baucom, grandson, Kolby Andrews, and numerous half siblings, and sisters and brothers-in-law.

 Wanda is survived by her children, Sandy Davis, Columbus, MS, Diane (Junior) Eads of Columbus, MS, Bill Andrews of Columbus, MS, and Scott (Jennifer) Andrews of Columbus, MS, brothers, David (Barbara) Baucom of Columbus, MS, Junior (Judy) Baucom of Columbus, MS, Leslie (Margaret) Baucom of Columbus, MS, Tony (Patricia) Baucom of Columbus, MS, and Mike (Shirley) Baucom of Gordo, AL, six grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. 

 Honorary pallbearers will be the loving staff of Garden Hill Assisted Living and Legacy Hospice.

 In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be made in honor of Wanda Andrews to Parkinson Foundation, or The Alzheimer's Foundation Of America, website: alzfdn.org.
