WALTER RUSHING

Walter Rushing age 76 of Vernon, Alabama died Tuesday November 2, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus.

No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Rushing was born of February 17, 1945 in the Longview Community of Oktibbeha County to the late Will Rushing and Mary Bell Izell Rushing.  He was a retired production employee in the garment industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brothers Bill & Joe Rushing, and brothers, Lonnie Robertson, and Robert Wayne Rushing, and his sister Pauline Gazaway.

Survivors include his daughter Janet Logan and her husband James, of Columbus, MS, his grandson, James Logan, Jr., of Columbus, MS, his sisters, Minnie Pearl Vonkanel, of Columbus, Sara Moore and her husband Billy of Brooksville, MS, and his brother, Buddy Rushing and his wife Sue of West Point, MS, and his longtime friend, Linda Simpson.
