WALTER NETTLES
Walter Cornelius “W. C.” Nettles, age 75, of Columbus, MS, passed away May 17, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Nettles was born November 24, 1944, in Charleston, SC, to the late Walter C. and Lillian Strickland Nettles.  He worked in the construction business for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Letha B. Nettles, son, Walter “Little Walt” Nettles,  sister, Faye Williams, and nephew, Tommy Williams.

Survivors include his son, Larry “Harlow” Nettles of Columbus, MS, and niece, Denise Burchfield of Columbus, MS.
