TROY HIGDON
Rev. Troy Lee Higdon, age 91, of Cleveland, TN , formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away July 13, 2020, at Bradley Healthcare & Rehab. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 16, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel 903 College St. location with Rev. Kelly Jolly officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Covin Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayette, AL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Rev. Higdon was born December 28, 1928, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Troy Edgar and Violet Irene Aldridge Higdon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Jewell and Nora, brothers, James, Dorsey, Lemuel, Ganus, and Bruce Higdon, and sister Vaudine Black.
Survivors include his daughters, Shelby Finney and her husband Charles of Cleveland, TN, and Barbara Jolly and her husband Kelly of Northport, AL, grandchildren, Margie Renae Kines and David Morgan, great grandchildren, Kailee Price and Kendall Hill, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
