Tommy Lamar Glenn Sr. was born in Columbus, Mississippi on October 21, 1943, to James Leslie (Cowboy) Glenn, Jr. and Mollie McCool Glenn. He entered heaven peacefully surrounded by family on October 11, 2024. His family rejoices that he is healed. Tommy is survived by his wife of sixty years, Julia Ann Glenn and his sons Tommy L. Glenn, Jr. and Robert Allen Glenn and daughters-in- laws Elizabeth Showers and Frances Beard Glenn. He was a loving Pop and is also survived by his grandchildren: Robert Allen Glenn, Jr. (Katy), David Lyon Glenn (Allie), Thomas Hazard Glenn (Lauren), Douglas Stephenson Glenn (Kaitlyn), Harley Caroline Glenn Lientz (Andrew), Ethan Thomas Glenn, and Charles Prowell Glenn; also, great grandson Wilson Lyon Glenn and was looking forward to the birth of a second great grandson in March. Tommy graduated from S.D. Lee High in 1961 and attended East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi State University. With his brother Sonny Glenn, he owned and operated Glenn Machine Works for many years. He was a founding member of Trinity Church, served on the Board of Heritage Academy and Sports Boosters Board, and supported Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Ducks Unlimited. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings J.L. (Sonny) Glenn, Glenda Glenn Cumberland, and Martha Glenn Hall. In addition to his family, he is survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
