Theresa R. Lollar

THERESA LOLLAR - Theresa Reed Lollar, age 79, of Columbus, MS, passed away May 1, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Curtis Bray officiating.  A private family committal will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Mrs. Lollar was born June 12, 1943, in Oxford, MS, to the late Harvey William and Beulah Fay Harmon Reed, Sr.  She was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School and attended the Mississippi University for Women.  Mrs. Lollar worked for Bellsouth as an operator and then worked for Pepsi for 19 years.  She then worked as a dispatcher for 911 for a brief time before working at Johnston Tombigbee for 23 years in human resources.  Mrs. Lollar was a member of First Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey William Reed, Jr.

Survivors include her daughers, Gina Double (Christophe) of Soisy Bouy, France, and Jennifer Garrard of Columbus, MS, and grandchildren, Blaine Garrard (Michelle Schantz) and Paxton Garrard.
