Terry Cole

Terry Wayne Cole, age 52, died Tuesday February 21, 2023 at his residence in Columbus. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Cemetery. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Terry was born on September 6, 1970 in Jackson, TN to Bonnie Willis Summerford and Vernon Oscar Cole. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus and had been in industrial maintenance for over 20 years. He was employed by Sqwincher Activity Drink.

He loved God and Country. The lights of his life were his 2 children, Trevor and McKensi.

He is survived by his daughter: McKensi Cole White (Brandon) of Hamilton, MS; son: Trevor Wayne Cole (Emily) of Athens, GA; mother: Bonnie Willis Summerford (Craig) of Columbus, MS; father: Vernon Oscar Cole, (Jessie) of Counce, TN; sisters: Denise Cole Winton (George) of Columbus, MS and Angel Cole Golson (Charlie) of Caledonia, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
