TERESA MATTHEWS -
Teresa Yvonne Salyers Matthews, age 70, of Caledonia, MS, passed away April 21, 2024, at her residence.  Funeral services will be Friday, April 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Joshua Hamon officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Egger Cemetery of Caledonia.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Matthews was born February 3, 1954, in Middletown, OH, to the late Howard and Halla Mae Bush Salyers.  She attended Franklin High School in Franklin, OH.  Mrs. Matthews worked at Michelle's Place in Hamilton, MS, for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlie Martin.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Bowlin of Louisville, MS, and William John Bowlin and his wife Angie of Franklin, OH, daughter, Salena Matthews of Caledonia, MS, brother, Vernon Sandlin and his wife Sheila of Phoenix, AZ, sister, Rosa Sharon Phipps and her husband Dewayne of Caledonia, MS, grandchildren, Ashley Matthews, Heather Bowlin, Richard Bowlin, III, Natalie Martin , and Harlie Bowlin, and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Dodson, Dewayne Phipps, Richard Bowlin, III, Millard Matthews, Kevin Pierce, and John Hamon.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
