Summer Yearby

SUMMER YEARBY - Summer Yearby, age 40, of Columbus, MS, passed away January 10, 2023, in Columbus, MS.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Summer was born December 6, 1982, in Columbus, MS, to Sam Yearby, Sr. of Columbus, MS, and Kathy Crowell Yearby of Columbus, MS.  She received her associate degrees from Virginia College of Jackson, MS, and East Mississippi Community College.  Summer worked for many years at the Ranch House Diner and Rubens Fish and Steakhouse.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her daughter, Angel Griggs of Columbus, MS, brother, Sam Yearby, Jr. of Sacramento, CA, sister, Samantha Kinard of Noxapater, MS, and nephews, Kenneth Yearby and Joe Yearby.
