Shirley Anne Wilson, 82, of Caledonia MS, passed away on Sunday July 14, 2019. She was born in Graysville IN, on December 24, 1936 to Roy and Helen (McKinley) Tague. She was a 1955 graduate of Noblesville High School, in Noblesville IN, a member of the First Christian Church in Columbus MS; the First Christian Church of Sullivan IN, where she was an active member of the Women's Missionary Group and a Sunday School teacher, and a former member of the Bethany Christian Church in Sierra Madre CA. Shirley was a masterful knitter, and Crochet craftsperson; was an avid Barbie Doll collector of Vintage through modern day dolls. Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers Gene Tague, and Eddie Tague.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Mickey Joe Wilson whom she married June 20, 1958; a son Darin Wilson (married) of Rochester, NY, a daughter Shari Wilson-Sewell (married) of Bloomfield IN, a sister Peggy Grimes of Sullivan, and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 19, 2019 at Holmes Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Cox officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery. The family suggest that if friends so desire memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society or your local Pet Shelter.
