Sharon Ruth “Sherri” Matson, age 59 died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her residence in Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church (144 Hwy 373/Air Base Hill/across from Columbus Middle School), with Rev. Benjamin Kratz officiating; with burial to follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Saturday one hour prior to service at the church.

Sherri was born on Monday, April 25, 1960 in Columbus, MS to the late Dr. Sigfred and Mildred Alberta Zimmer Matson. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Sigfred William “Bill” Matson
