Sheila Atkins Terrell age 65, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Criddle officiating,
Sheila was born on Saturday, December 11, 1954 in Columbus to Marvin Gay and Doris Gavin Atkins.
Sheila spent her career as a much sought after certified surgical technologist working in medical facilities throughout the United States. Sheila's family, work, cooking, and travel were her passions. Sheila was loved and enjoyed her family and her beloved labradoodle, Max. Sheila brought energy into a room and was a joy and blessing to her friends and family. Sheila, Shola as she's known by her granddaughter, will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry “Rabbit” Atkins.
