SARAH JOHNSON

Sarah Josephine Vaughn Johnson, age 91, of Bartlett, TN, passed away May 25, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital of Bartlett.  Graveside services will be Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery in Steens, MS.  Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory College St. location.

Mrs. Johnson was born December 20, 1927, in Steens, MS, to the late Charles and Rachel Viola Sanders Vaughn.  She retired from Ladds of Memphis after 40 years as an accounts payable specialist.  Mrs. Johnson was a member of the DAR and Daughters of the Confederacy.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln Johnson.

Survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
