Sammie Earline Crowe

Sammie Earline Crowe, age 77, of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  Funeral services will be Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel.  The interment will immediately follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery near Vernon, AL.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crowe was born Saturday, June 9, 1945, in Aberdeen, MS, to the late Samuel and Lela Arizona Mitchell Reeves.  She worked at Seminole Manufacturing / American Trouser from age 16 until retirement and enjoyed gardening and all types of flowers, often creating her own arrangements.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Crowe, and sister, Elaine Reaves Knight.

Survivors include her daughter, Mylinda Fancher and her husband Donald of Conroe, TX, son, Ricky Crowe and his wife Lora of Peachtree City, GA, sisters, Kathlene Lockridge of Hamilton, MS, and Lorraine Ott of Amory, MS, grandchildren, Amy Fancher Waddle and her husband Thomas, Beth Fancher Burns and her husband Erin, Hannah Fancher Browning and her husband Nick, Rachel Crowe, and Emma Crowe, as well as seven great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
