SALLYE BOYDE

Sarah "Sallye" Boyde age 88, died Friday, March 19, 2021 at her residence in Columbus. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Anne Russell Bradley officiating.

Mrs. Boyde was born on Sunday, July 10, 1932 in Columbus, MS to the late B.V. and Johnnie McHenry Carr . She was a member of Columbus First Baptist Church and a graduate of S.D. Lee High School and MUW. She was an employee of the Dothan Eagle before moving back to Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Boyde, and her brother Bill Carr .
