Sara Virginia “Sally” Authier age 84 died Saturday December 12, 2020 at her residence in Columbus. Services will be held Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel 716 2 nd Ave Chapel with Larry Ferguson and Charlie Box officiating; burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery West Point, MS. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Authier was born on Saturday, January 25, 1936 in Clay County, MS to the late Arthur Benjamin Harrison and Mary Lasley Dill Harrison. She was a member of Columbus First Christian Church and a retired business owner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Darrell Authier, her son Harold Benjamin Burges, her grandson, Jimmy Burges her brother James Harrison, and her sister Mary Dale Blanchard
