RUBY BELL

Ruby Mae Bell age 90 died Wednesday July 20, 2022 at her home. A funeral service will be held Saturday July 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Border Springs Baptist Church with Rev. David Westmoreland and Rev. P.J. Mortenson officiating; burial will follow at Rowan Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.

Mrs. Bell was born on December 8, 1931 in Caledonia to the late Willie and Stella Gallop Wells. She was a member of the 1950 graduating class of Caledonia High School. She married the love of her life Durward (D.B.) Bell on May 30, 1950, who preceded her in death August 18, 1985. She was a lifelong faithful member of Border Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sister Hassarine Adair, and her brother Winston Wells.

Survivors include her son Phillip Bell, (Susan), grandsons, William Bell, (Michelle), and Jordan Bell, (Lacey).

Great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Charlie, Wyatt, and Jack Henry Bell, and her nephew Ray Adair all of Caledonia.

Serving as pallbearers will be William Bell, Jordan Bell, Charlie Bell, Aubrey Adair, Kenneth Sisson, and Judge Jim Kitchens.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be, Ray Adair, Lee Gallop, Jeff Dalhaus, John Harvey Partain, Duane Perkins, and members of the Joy Sunday School Class at Border Springs Baptist Church.
