Roy Tribble

Roy Brown Tribble, age 71, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 at 12:00pm at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, 903 College St. Location with Bro. Jack Taylor officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens in Columbus.

Mr. Tribble was born on August 18, 1950 in Columbus to the late Elex Elroy and Lizzie Corinne Brown Tribble.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Nannette Tribble.

Roy is survived by his wife, Jean Tribble; son, Robert Brian Tribble, Sr. (Laurie Boykin); daughters, Elizabeth "Toni" McDaniel (Mike) and Charlotte Roxann Price (David Umbel); grandchildren, Mary (Joe), Amber (Kenneth), Brian, Jr. (Vae), Sara, Dallas (Dekota), Harley (Daniel), Malcom, Zoey, Blaine, Kelby, David, Jr., and Ally; and great grandchildren, Hannah, Jaydon, Landon, Trenton, Addison, Paxton, Jace, Caroline, Silas, Ava, Tristen, Eylania, Kayden, Kyler, Finnley, and one unborn great grandchild.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike McDaniel, David Umbel, Brian Tribble, Jr., Blaine Price, Malcom McDaniel, Landon White, and Kody Kangas.  Honorary pallbearers are Douglas George, Roy Pifer, the staff of Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL, and the staff of UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
