RON BLEVINS

Ronald R. “Ron” Blevins age 78, died Friday October 25, 2024, at Windsor Place Nursing & Rehab Center. Services will be held Sunday October 27, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Rutledge officiating; burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mr. Blevins was born on February 27, 1946, to the late June Porter Blevins and Virgil Blevins. He was a longtime member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Veteran having served in Vietnam. He was the owner/operator of B&S Sales and Service in Columbus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Smith Blevins, his brother, Brian Blevins, and his sister, Carolyn Blevins.

Survivors include his sister Phyllis Williams and a nephew Miles Williams.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Howell, Nate Howell, Jon Howell, Terry Belk, John Musa, Paul Rast, and Mitchell Thornton

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Brett Brown, staff of Windsor Place Nursing & Rehab, staff of Refrigeration Supply, Tommy Johnson, and Tommy Johnson, Jr.
