George Robert Hickman, Sr., age 75 died Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at his residence in Steens. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Furnace Hill, Vernon, Alabama with Rev. Grant Mitchell officiating. Memorial Gunter Peel 2 nd Ave N is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hickman was born on Sunday, April 23, 1944 in MS to the late Willie Robert and Jessie Mae Spurgeon Hickman. He was a member of Caledonia United Pentecostal Church and a retired carpenter. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 siblings.
