PAULETTE STOCKTON - Paulette Hawkins Stockton, age 76, of Columbus, MS, passed away February 26, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be Friday, March 3, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Woodland Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Jenkins officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Vaughn Cemetery in Steens, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stockton was born August 1, 1946, in Winona, MS, to the late James and Mary Breland Hawkins. She was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School and member of Woodland Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diane Noland.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, John Stockton of Columbus, MS, son, John Stockton, Jr. of Columbus, MS, daughter, Tammy Stockton of Columbus, MS, brother, James Hawkins, Jr. of Fairhope, AL, and sister, Janette Hawkins of Columbus, MS.
The family would like to thank Legacy Hospice for their loving care.
