Paul McGee of Columbus, Mississippi

Willard Paul McGee, 92, of Columbus, died Friday, May 15, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory, 2 ^nd Avenue North. Graveside services for family only will be Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Friendship Cemetery with Charles Vaughn and Phillip Farris officiating.

The son of the late Andrew and Alma Sims McGee, Mr. McGee was born, February 29, 1928 in Millport, Al. He retired from Continental Trailways after 30 years of faithful service. He was the owner and operator of McGee Construction, Inc. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy on an Ammunitions carrier. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working around the house.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Eugene McGee and Bonzelle McGee.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years Rachel Goodman McGee, and his sons and daughters-in-law Ronnie and Pam McGee of Brandon, Randy and Jeanne McGee and Eddie McGee, all of Columbus. He is also survived by three grandchildren Gavin McGee (Brittany), Erin Bragg (Joey) and Grant McGee and five- great grandchildren Gracie, Mollie and Gibson McGee and Joanna and Rachel Bragg.
