Pat Sherman Furnari

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Patricia Ann Sherman Furnari was called home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was 83 years old. Pat was born July 22, 1940 in Columbus MS. As a child and young adult Pat was active in her church community. This included performing as a member of a gospel quartet. She also enjoyed a life-long love of playing the piano. Pat attended Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, TN. In 1960, Pat met the love of her life and the rest is history. Pat and Ed were married 58 years…until the passing of Ed in 2019. During their 58-year marriage, Pat took great pride in being a wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family and friends. Throughout the years, they enjoyed travelling, especially when it involved visiting children and grandchildren.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Furnari; son, Mark Furnari; parents, Jack and Martha Sherman; and infant sister.

Pat is survived by daughters Lisa Cochran (Paul) and Kris Nick (Chris); son, Matt Furnari (Jacque); grandchildren Emily Nick, Elizabeth Nick, Victoria Pecachek (Brit), Mark Furnari, Zeb Cochran, and Jack Furnari; sister, Diane Heinz and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church, Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10 AM, mass to follow at 11:00 AM.
