Nina Jean Southerland age 80 died January 12, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus

Nina was born on March 14, 1939 in Columbus MS to the late Amos H and Ruth Alexander.
Mrs. Southerland was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a pre-school Sunday School Teacher for many years, and was a volunteer with Kids Growing in Christ and the Coleman Community Center. She was a retired employee of Franklin School, before working at Franklin, she managed Angel Playland, Children’s Country, and Kiddie Korner Day care centers. She was affectionally known as Ms Nana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Andrew Southerland and her brother Wade Alexander.
