NANCY WEATHERS

Nancy Todd Weathers, age 82, of Hueytown, AL, formerly of Columbus, MS, passed away March 15, 2021, at Self Healthcare & Rehab of Hueytown.  Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joel Frederick officiation.  Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 716 2 ^nd Ave. North location.

Mrs. Weathers was born January 18, 1939, in Vernon, AL, to the late A. L. “Billy” and Hazel Barnes Todd.  She was a graduate of Hueytown High School in 1957 before moving to Columbus where she was a former member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther D. Weathers, Jr., and grandson, T. J. Weathers.

Survivors include her sons, Timothy David Weathers and his wife Mimi of South Dakota, and Luther David Weathers, III, of Columbus, MS, brothers, Donald Todd and his wife Debra of Hueytown, AL, Wayne Todd and his wife Alice of Hueytown, AL, David Todd and his wife Janet of Shannon, AL, and Lynn Todd of Woodstock, AL, sisters, Bettie Vernon of Bessemer, AL, and Mary Stinson of Woodstock, AL, grandchildren, Jacob Weathers, Sabrina Weathers, Jonathan Weathers, Christopher Weathers and his wife Faith, and Alex Weathers, and great grandchild, C. J. Weathers.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.

The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to all of the staff of Self Healthcare and Rehab for all of their love and support.
