NANCY SMITH - Nancy K. Smith, age 85, of Columbus, MS, passed away March 9, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, MS. Funeral services will be Monday, March 13, 2023, at 4:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating.
Nancy was born July 9, 1937, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Harry Thomas and Mildred Long. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy (Mark) Jaynes of Cumming, GA, Melissa (Tony) Sharp of Columbus, MS, and Karen (Bill) Harrison of Columbus, MS, grandchildren, Laura Hutchinson (Landon), Lindsey Padgett (Cole), Austin Jaynes, Blake Sharp, Sasha Powers (Josh), Lacey Dyer (Jacob), Whitney Ricketts (Dee), Audrey Harrison, and Brandon Harrison, and great grandchildren, Cade Hutchinson, Caroline Hutchinson, Levi Padgett, Lathan Powers, Landon Powers, Harper Dyer, Turner Dyer, Rylan Ricketts, and Ellee Ricketts.
