Minnie Mae Chain Livingston

MINNIE LIVINGSTON - Minnie Mae Chain Livingston, age 77, of Steens, MS, passed away November 29, 2022, at her residence after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.  Funeral services will be Friday, December 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Mike Dalton officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.

Mrs. Livingston was born September 17, 1945, in Caledonia, MS, to the late James Lloyd and Emma Letha Lockhart Chain.  She was retired from J. C. Penney's  of Columbus and was a faithful member of McBee Baptist Church.  She loved gardening and taking care of her many flowers.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Rose Roberts of McGee, MS.

Survivors include her husband, James H. Livingston of Steens, MS, daughter, Tammy Phelps and her husband Darren of Saltillo, MS, son, Tim Livingston and his wife Darnell of Pine Grove, AL, granddaughter, Lynnse Smart and her husband Sam of Lynden, TN, brothers, Hiram Chain and his wife Grace of Steens, MS, and Billy Chain of Monticello, FL, sisters, Linda Blanton of Lake Cormorant, MS, Joyce Edgeworth of Columbus, MS, and Peggy Mowry and her husband Marlin of Pheba, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Baron McKee, Ken Edgeworth, Jeremy Mowry, Drew Livingston, William Blanton, Kenneth Jaynes, Alan Jaynes, and Sam Smart.
