Michael Wayne “Mike” Ellis age 67 died Sunday April 4, 2021 at his residence in Columbus. A graveside service will be held Tuesday April 6, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery with Minister Tim Gentle officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. until service time at the cemetery. Mike was born on July 10, 1954 in Columbus to Gillman Egan and Martha McDonald Ellis, Jr. He worked at Ellis Tractor Company and Columbus Engine Rebuilders, before becoming a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Young Ellis, and his brothers Gillman E. Ellis, III, and Joe Ellis.
