Melodie Wells, 56, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her residence in Hamilton, MS.
Melodie lived most of her life in Columbus, but had a second home in Clover, SC. She made friends no matter where she went. Affectionately known as "Mel" to her friends and family, to her mother, she was "Thomas". Melodie was quite the tomboy and would not be found wearing a dress, but only jeans and a tee shirt. She loved God, her family, Johnny, and The New Orleans Saints. She was a proud American who loved her flag and being a Republican.
Mel leaves behind Johnny Kelly, who took such great care of her; her mother, Jeannie Mann; sister, Michelle Thomas; brother-in-law, Marty Thomas; and niece, Tasha Marie (Robert Pettee), all of Clover, South Carolina.
A celebration of her life was held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Johnny's on Hwy 45 N in Columbus, MS.
