MELISSA UPTON
Melissa Ruby Upton, age 65, of Columbus, Ms, passed away July 23, at her residence.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating.
Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
Miss Upton was born March 25, 1957, in Columbus, Ms, to the late Glyn and Willie Huff Upton. She was a graduate of S. D. Lee High School and Mississippi University for Women. She worked for a number of years at the Columbus Arts Council and attended Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Dr. Don Upton and his wife Vicki of Columbus, Ms, and nephews Brad Upton and Ben Upton.
