MARY BETH WINDERS

Mary Beth Arnold Winders, age 78, of Columbus, MS , passed away October 1, 2020, at Trinity Healthcare.  Memorial services will be Saturday, October 3, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel 903 College St. location with Rev. Mel Howton officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.

Mrs. Winders was born May 7, 1942, in Columbus, MS, to the late James Clifton and Mildred Andrews Arnold.  She was a graduate of Caledonia High School and member of the Caledonia United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Winders worked as a nurse for Baptist Memorial Hospital for 25 years and also worked as a hospice nurse for a number of years. She had a God given talent for taking care of people and animals in need.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Holtman (Marty Holtman) of Caledonia, MS, son, Marty Pennington (Angie Pennington) of Caledonia, MS, and grandchildren, Emily Sprouse (Nathan Sprouse), Jacob Holtman, Macey Pennington, Brooke Hall (Corey Hall), and Kane Doty.

Memorial donations may be sent to Columbus Lowndes Humane Society ,American Kidney Foundation, or other charitable organizations.
