MARY TRUSSELL -

Mary Ann Griffin Trussell, age 75, of Columbus, MS, passed away December 28, 2023, at Windsor Place.  Funeral services will be Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Forest Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Trussell was born April 19, 1948, in Gadsden, AL, to the late Charles M. and Laura Callan Griffin.  She was a graduate of Cleveland, MS, High School.  Mrs. Trussell retired from Baldor Electric and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene R. Trussell of Columbus, MS, sisters, Gloria Griffin Garretson and her husband Roy of Sumrall, MS, and Sally Griffin White of Huntsville, AL, brother, Charlie Griffin and his wife Kathleen of Ethelsville, AL, sister-in-law, Gerry Trussell Huller and her husband Stan of Frisco, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Griffin, Charlie Griffin, Rivers Griffin, Tom White, Aaron White, Paul White, Kirk Peak, Taylor Mason, Jeff Mason, and Chris Parker.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Oldest Married Couples Sunday School Class at Fairview Baptist Church including special friends Sue and Troy Whitten.
