MARY MASSINGILL

Enies Mary Massingill age 85 died Saturday March 2, 2024 at her son’s residence in Columbus. A funeral service will be held Thursday March 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home Chapel with Father Jeffrey Waldrep officiating; burial will follow at Memorial Gardens of Columbus. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home, and again Thursday one hour prior to service.

Mrs. Massingill was born on April 27, 1938 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Gregory Flores and Enies Roy Flores. She was a communicant of Annunciation Catholic Church and cake decorator. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elton M. Massingill and her daughter Peggy Ann Bishop.

Survivors include:

Son: Thomas Massingill, (Lisa), of Columbus, MS

Son-in-law: Clifton Bishop, Sr.

4 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren

Serving as pallbearers will be:

Chris Hayes, Wendell Hayes, Kevin Bishop, Edward Bishop, Hayden Bishop, and Kenneth Floyes

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be:

Justin Massingill, Joshua Lucas, and Danny Kittrell
