MARY PRITCHARD - Mary Louise Barham Pritchard, age 84, of Steens, MS, passed away May 15, 2024, in Hamilton, MS, at her daughter's residence. Funeral services will be Friday, May 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel. The interment will immediately follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Vernon, AL. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
Mrs. Pritchard was born October 6, 1939, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Joel and Millie Palmer Barham. She was a graduate of Lamar County High School and worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was a member of First Assembly and was a wonderful artist, loved flowers and gardening, and enjoyed making quilts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Shackelford and Thomas Edward Pritchard, and brothers, Jim Barham and Edward Barham.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Cantrell and her husband Allen of Caledonia, MS, Janet Curry and her husband Chris of Milledgeville, GA, and Donna Johnson of Hamilton, MS, brothers, Clay Barham and his wife Val of Columbus, MS, Earl Barham and his wife Belinda of Petal, MS, and Paul Barham and his wife Carol of Vernon, AL, sister, Gayle Barham of Columbus, MS, grandchildren, Lee Autrey and his wife Leigh, Christy Rikard and her husband Weston, Matt Autrey and his wife Megan, Brittany Banks and her husband Ty, Daniel Reynolds and his wife Deanna, Tiffany Davis and her husband Marty, Erica Cliett her husband Chris, and Stephanie Jackson and her husband Philip, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Lee Autrey, Matt Autrey, Thomas Autrey, Weston Rikard, Ty Banks, Chris Cliett, and Brayden Goforth.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Gentiva Hospice of Tupelo, MS.
