MARILYN WHITTEN
Marilyn M. Whitten, 65, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS with Pastor Jody Andrews officiating.
Marilyn was born on September 13, 1955, in Columbus, MS to the late Newman Allen and Hilda Henderson Malone. She attended Life Church in Columbus. She was known as a kindhearted and loving lady who loved animals. She is survived by her son, John Whitten of Columbus, MS; sisters, Beverly Deistler (Leo) of Kansas City, MO and Diane Clark (Tony) of Caledonia, MS; nephews, Roger Burton of West Point, MS and Brad Clark of Columbus, MS; and nieces, Rachel B. Williams of Madison, MS and Brandy Williamson of Ethelsville, AL.
Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Jones, Karl Williams, Tommy Vaughn, Henry Vaughn, Walt Willis, Danny Malone, Jr. Pounders and the
Employees of Bank of Vernon.
