Margaret Anne Scutella
June 27, 1935 — January 4, 2019
Margaret Anne Scutella, 83, loving and loyal wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at her residence on January 4, 2019.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home, College Street location in Columbus, from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM Sunday, January 6, 2019. Services will follow at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Chris Rutledge of Lighthouse Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Egger Cemetery.
Mrs. Scutella was born June 27, 1935, in Blakely, GA to the late Nesby and Carrie Williams Freeman. She was devoted Christian, never wavering in her faith or strength and telling her testimony until our Heavenly Father called his faithful servant home. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Philip T. Scutella; brothers Hildred Freeman and Nesby Freeman, Jr.; sisters Frances Mitchelll and Ruenell Hagein and her great-granddaughter Everly Reeves.
She is survived by her five daughters Lisa Frigault of Florida, Sheree Brannon (Richard ) and Melanie Scutella (Danny) all of Alabama, Michell Tice (Kenny) and Carrie Reeves (Royce), all of Columbus. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ashley Davis (Wayne) of Texas, Philip Tice , Hillary Reeves and Joshua Reeves, all of Columbus and great-grandchildren Brandi Davis and Thomas Reeves and niece Dale Dermitt (Ken) of Florida.
Pallbearers will be Richard Brannon, Kenny Tice, Philip Tice, Joshua Reeves, Duane Perkins and Joshua Tedford.
