Margaret Lancaster Chain

Margaret Louise Chain age 85 died Monday, June 27, 2022 at Windsor Place Nursing & Rehab Center. Services will be held Saturday, July 02, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gunter Peel Chapel with Jessie Betts officiating, burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Chain was born on December 18, 1936 in Gordo, Alabama to the late Edward Olin and Martha Hall Lancaster. She was a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church and a retired employee of United Technologies.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Harold Chain, her son Phillip Harold Chain, and 11 siblings.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Pam Phillips and her husband Johnny of Steens, MS

Son: Paul Chain, of Columbus, MS

Grandchildren: Neil Phillips and his wife Susan, Matt Phillips and his wife Tracie, and Parker Chain

Great Grandchildren: Griffin Phillips, and Adley Phillips

And a host of nieces & nephews

Serving as pallbearers will be:

Neil Phillips, Matt Phillips, Joey Jones, Danny Lancaster, David Kilpatrick, and Darrell Gregory

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be:
