Magdalene Lofton Watt

Magdalene Lofton Watt, age 69, of Columbus, MS, passed away October 14, 2019, at her residence.  Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Rev. Paul Shaw officiating.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory College St. location is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Watt was born May 14, 1950, in McGee, MS, to the late Johnny Lee and Catherine White Lofton.  She was a graduate of New Hope High School and received her associates degree in cosmetology from East Mississippi Community College.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Watt, Jr. of Columbus, MS, son, Edward Watt, III, and his wife Leigh of Crestview, FL, brothers, Johnny Lofton and his wife Betty of Columbus, MS, Cecil Lofton and his wife Judy of Kennedy, AL, and Rodney Lofton and his wife Sandy of Brandon, MS, sisters, Vivle Matthews of Big Springs, TX, Evelyn Miley and her husband Ron of Cheyenne, WY, Nancy Foreman of Columbus, MS, and Peggy Garrison and her husband Tim of Gulf Shores, AL, granddaughter, Kaylee Watt of Crestview, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Gerald Turner, Chris Foreman, Steve Foreman, Brad Lofton, Tyler Lofton, Eric Lofton, and Bradley Garrison.
