LORRAINE SMITH

Elma Lorraine Morris Smith, age 87, of Columbus, MS , passed away January 1, 2021, at Windsor Place.  Graveside services will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Greens Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Carson, MS, with Rev. Roger Lee officiating.  Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 716 2 ^nd Ave. North location is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Smith was born September 2, 1933, in Prentiss, MS, to the late Miller Conn and Elma Jane Lee Morris.  She worked at Ruth’s and Eggers and worked for many years in the jewelry profession.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Keith Smith, Sr., granddaughter, Amy Elizabeth Smith, and sister, Tressie Fay Morris.

Survivors include her sons, Dale Keith Smith, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Hamilton, MS, and David Conn Smith and his wife Tonya of Northport, AL, brother, M. C. Morris and his wife Linda of Long Beach, MS, sister, Anna Maxie Moore and her husband Stan of Tyler, TX, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Colton Smith, Cooper Smith, Justin Black, Conner Black, Wyatt Baggett, Barrett Baggett, Kutler Baggett, Holden Baggett, Lawson Pope, and Kohen Thompson.
