Lois Banks

Lois R. Banks, 81, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 2:00 pm AT Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home with Pastor Lavelle Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Banks was born in Lamar County, Alabama to the late L.C. Millican and Exie Ray Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Mitzi Jackson; sons, Gerald Banks (Kelley), Kenny Ballard (Robin), and Mitch Banks; grandchildren, Haynes Banks, Grant Banks, Skylar Banks, Kyle Ballard (Hope), Preston Ballard, and Blaine Jackson; great grandchildren, Cammie Ballard, Miley Ballard, and Cohen Ballard; and nieces, Kim Millican and Angie Kelly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Banks, Sr., brother, Gary Millican, and sister in law, Sue Millican.
