LISA HEATH

Lisa Lynn Harpole Heath, age 60, of Columbus, MS , passed away October 18, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  A memorial service will be Friday, October 30, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Brown officiating.  The interment will immediately follow at Houston City Cemetery in Houston, MS. Memorial Gunter Peel Funeral Home & Crematory 903 College St. location is in charge of arrangements.

Lisa was born September 22, 1960, to the late Stanley and Frankie Harpole.  She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she served as pianist for several years.  She followed in her mother’s footsteps and attended Mississippi University for Women where she received her Bachelor of Music Education degree.  Lisa was an accomplished piano, voice, and theory instructor who lovingly taught many students in Columbus and surrounding areas.  She had an award winning studio in San Antonio, TX, before returning to Columbus where she continued to share her love of music.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Walter Heath of Columbus, MS, sister, Vicki Harpole Cox of Quincy, FL, and niece and nephews, Trey, Tiffany Rose, Titus, and Tory Cox.
