LINDA BURNS

Linda Jean Burns age 73, died Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Gunter Peel 903 College St Chapel ; burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Burns was born on Sunday, October 05, 1947 in Paden, MS to the late Grover C. Sappington and Mae Hawkins Sappington. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church and a retired employee of Seminole Manufacturing Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Douglas “Buddy” Burns.
