KATHY CESARE

Kathryn "Kathy" Ellis Rhett Cesare passed away unexpectedly at Baptist Memorial Hospital November 4, 2022. She is survived by her husband, John Cesare, her sons, Munford Rhett Cesare, John Charles Cesare (Haley) and William Parker Cesare (Landry) and her grandchildren Neveah and John Robert. Kathy is also survived by her mother, Kathryn Rhett, brothers, Wythe (Gina), Robert (Penni), sister, Laura Leigh Rhett Lewis (David) and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Munford Rhett. Kathy was born in Columbus to Mr. and Mrs. Munford Rhett on May 27, 1957. She attended Heritage Academy and Mississippi University for Women. She was a Realtor with Rhett Real Estate, Inc. Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus, Mississippi, where she served as the leader of Juvenile Detention Ministry. She was a Life Member of Columbus Junior Auxiliary and a member of the Home and Garden Club. Services will be held on Monday, November 7, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. and service to follow at First Baptist Church located on 202 Seventh Street North, Columbus, Mississippi.
